Social Life at PACE
Students come to PACE Academy from all over the world not just to learn English but for the fantastic social life found here. Our small class size, organized gatherings, field trips and sporting events foster an environment for making friends and having fun in and out of the classroom. Some of our student's favorite activities are Latin dancing, local cultural events, outdoor concerts in the summer, field trips and day-trips to nearby attractions as well as participation in organized and impromptu sporting events.

Park Gatherings
PACE Academy is located next to the beautiful and green Scera Park where students regularly gather for impromptu picnics, soccer games, casual study sessions or just to enjoy each other's company . After class PACE Academy students love to just hang out at the park. Scera Park is also home to a 5,500 person outdoor amphitheater where local and national acts regularly perform. The park has two play-sets, two pavilions, numerous picnic tables, and a walking/jogging path shaded by mature trees.

Sporting Events
From spur-of-the-moment and soccer games in the park to organized triathlons and ping pong tournaments our students love to be active. They regularly compete with each other and cheer each other on in whatever sport they happen to be playing.

Field Trips
PACE Academy students love our field trips! Some of the more popular field trips include Arches National Park in Moab, Utah, sledding at Soldier Hollow, home of the cross-country ski events at the 2002 Winter Olympics and riding the roller coasters at Lagoon Amusement Park.

Concerts
Our students love music and enjoy getting together for local music events and concerts. The Velour is a popular venue with live music and local bands. Free outdoor concerts are held every Friday night from May until September at Provo Town Square in the heart of Provo.

Birthdays
Birthdays are a big deal at PACE Academy. As so many of our students are far away from home they quickly become family to one another and as family they celebrate birthdays! We celebrate EVERY student's birthday!
